Dr. George Viertl is a General Dentist and has been practicing in Salisbury, Maryland since 2004. We are extraordinarily motivated to provide our patients with high-­quality care and a positive and friendly experience. Dr. Viertl and his staff are top­-notch professionals and take pride in being forthright and sincere about your oral care and treatment.  It is not our style to do unnecessary diagnostic work, up­-sold treatments, or conceal known costs. Our front­-desk and back office assistants are self­-driven and inspired every day to do a little better to make your visit satisfying and pleasant. Not a single one of us simply goes through the motions of our jobs and we are convinced we try harder than the competition.

Our back-office manager has over 20 years of information technology experience which lends to the high quality of our front­ and back­-office dental practice management tools. We use a cloud­-based practice management system that helps us not only give you organized treatment planning costs and scheduling, but protects your information using state-­of-­the­ art technology. Our digital x­ray systems allow us to quickly share essential clinical artifacts with other local specialists and also get your insurance claims and pre­-authorizations processed in a speedy and efficient manner.

As we have matured as a practice, we are in network with very few insurance plans but we do our best to help you file claims we are out of network. We strive to keep our office fees reasonable for our patients who do not have dental insurance. We take pride in being very efficient which means our patients rarely have to wait once they arrive for their appointments. Unlike many other practices, we leave room on our schedule to accommodate dental emergencies for established patients and don’t “double-book” to handle broken appointments. In order to provide you with this high-level of efficiency, we do maintain very strict appointment confirmation and cancellation policies as well as firm billing policies. We strive to achieve a positive synergy with our patients so that we function in a manner that is predictable, fair, and proficient. We are a busy practice and have to balance a variety of constraining forces to remain vital but we always want our success to come from responsible, happy, and well­-informed patients.
